At the conference, it will be optional to present in Danish or English, and we therefore also accept session proposals and abstracts in both languages.
Photos and video may be taken during the conference potentially to be used in media coverage of the Danish Marine Science Meeting.
The Marine Science Meeting will take place at the Konventum conference center in Helsingør. Konventum is the largest conference center in North Zealand, situated in scenic surroundings. The Marine Science Meeting will be held in the two auditoriums, Jorn and Damgaardssalen, with streaming between them during plenary sessions. In addition, there will be parallel sessions in Øresundssalen (Tuesday and Wednesday), as well as in Scherfig and C13 (Thursday). Posters will be presented in two sessions, on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, in Scherfig and C13.

Konventum’s auditoriums, restaurant, and break areas are not suitable for wheelchair users or individuals with mobility impairments.
Rooms at Konventum can be booked via the congress organiser The Meeting Planners during registration, with no obligations for Aarhus University and Ocean Institute. There are other hotels in and around Helsingør.
Train:
Direct train connection from Copenhagen Airport and via Copenhagen Central Station every 20 minutes to Helsingør Station. Distance from Helsingør Station: 3 km. Local trains run between Gilleleje Station and Helsingør Station approximately every 30 minutes. Bus:
Bus 353 runs from Helsingør Station to Hellebo Park approximately every 30 minutes. From Hellebo Park, it is a 5-minute walk to Konventum & Højstrupgård. www.rejseplanen.dk www.dinoffentligetransport.dk
Car:
It takes approximately 45 minutes by car from Copenhagen City Hall Square to Konventum & Højstrupgård.
Parking:
Konventum offers 450 free outdoor parking spaces.
Note: Parking in the forecourt area is reserved for persons with special needs. A parking permit for the forecourt can be obtained at the reception.
Electric vehicle charging:
Konventum has 6 parking spaces with charging facilities for electric vehicles in the forecourt area. Charging is subject to payment via the Monta app.
To use the charger, please download the Monta app via Apple or Android, or by scanning the QR code on the charging station. Charging management and payment are handled through the app.
The chargers are equipped with Type 2 connectors and can deliver up to 22 kW.
