From Tuesday, January 20th to Thursday, January 22nd, 2026 (both days inclusive)

Session Proposals: From January 15th to April 1st

Registration: Opens no later than May 1st.

Submission of Abstracts: Expected from May 1st to September 15th.

Language: 

At the conference, it will be optional to present in Danish or English, and we therefore also accept session proposals and abstracts in both languages.

Photography at the event

Photos and video may be taken during the conference potentially to be used in media coverage of the Danish Marine Science Meeting. 

Venue: 

The Marine Science Meeting will take place at the Konventum conference center in Helsingør. Konventum is the largest conference center in North Zealand, situated in scenic surroundings. The Marine Science Meeting will be held in the two auditoriums, Jorn and Damgaardssalen (with streaming between them during plenary sessions).

Rooms at Konventum can be booked via the congress organiser The Meeting Planners during registration, with no obligations for Aarhus University and Ocean Institute. There are other hotels in and around Helsingør. 

Transport:

Train: 
Direct train connection from Copenhagen Airport and via Copenhagen Central Station every 20 minutes to Helsingør Station. Distance from Helsingør Station: 3 km. Local trains run between Gilleleje Station and Helsingør Station approximately every 30 minutes. Bus:

It takes approximately 45 minutes by car from Copenhagen City Hall Square to Konventum & Højstrupgård.
